Dr. Lessel, who was lead author of the first description of the neurodevelopmental syndrome associated with mutations in the gene AGO2 (Lessel et al. Nature Comm 2020) and serves on our scientific advisory board, will lead the newly established Institute of Human Genetics at University Salzburg, Austria.
